The Tannery Construction Update – October 2026

Another month, another milestone. The Tannery continues its upward climb, with the residential structure advancing and significant progress being made across the site.

Residential Tower

Last month, the team completed the concrete pours for Level 4, marking the first residential level. Construction has now progressed to Level 5, with the first pour complete and the second on track for later this month. Meanwhile, formwork is cycling through the structure, allowing high-level services installation to commence across Levels 1 and 2.

The construction hoist and first two loading bays have also been installed, supporting the movement of materials and personnel as the building continues to rise. These facilities will play an important role in upcoming glazing deliveries and installation.

Heritage Tannery Building

Within the heritage Tannery building, structural steel installation and final bracing works are continuing. These works are progressing ahead of roof sheeting installation next month, marking another important step in the refurbishment of this historic part of the project.
